Quickly see the details of how a claim was processed and paid. Click the red pins to see more details about each feature.
ID Drop Down
1You may have multiple identification numbers if, for example, you've switched employers or have a separate dental policy. The Identification Number drop down menu will list them all.
Member Drop Down
2If you have dependents on your health plan, they will be listed in the Member drop down menu.
Date of Service Selection
3Search for specific claims during any time period within the past two years.
Claim Arrows
4Arrow colors tell you the status of a claim. Blue means the claim has been processed. If you click a blue arrow, it will turn orange and show you more details. Gray means a claim hasn't completed processing yet, and there are no details to view.
Provider Reviews
5Clicking the star will take you to the Blue National Doctor and Hospital Finder where you can provide a review of the doctor.
Total Charges and Patient Responsibility
6In this section, you can see the total charge for health services compared to the amount you actually have to pay because your health plan has covered the rest.
Total Claims Charge and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Paid
7This section tells you the total charge for all health services on a claim, and the amount paid by Blue Cross.
Patient Responsibility Total
8Here you can see more details about how much you're responsible for paying.
